Background Information.

Documents were transmitted with a memo dated August 7, 2008, which addressed a number of issues and included some questions, briefly summarized on this website.  The documents referred to in that memo are available on the site.  If they are PDF documents, they will open in new windows. 

When we initially started on this, it was to address questions from ADWR regarding three surface water wells.  I had gone ahead and ran supplemental searches to see what might relate to the wells.  These are in Microsoft Excel format.  Depending on your browser configuration, you can just click on them and you will be prompted to download them or you might need to right click and save the documents:

• Statement of Claimant Search; and
• Surface Water Right Search.

Historic Documents (Some to be used as attachments to the corrective documents).

• A packet of all of the documents that were originally sent for review;
• Map showing the location of Aravaipa Creek in connection with the Cavendar property;
• Aerial photo/map showing the location of currently irrigated fields;
• A map taken from previous filings showing thelocations of Fields A, B, C and D;
• Copies of electric bills to demonstrate well usage;
• Deeds to the Cavendars - (We can use these for the filings but it would be better to have copies that are not stamped UNOFFICIAL across them);
• Homestead patents; and
• Cattle Brands Report that might be used to establish priority.

Water Rights.

The existing water right filings and the draft amendments are groups as follows:

• Irrigation Wells;
• Stockponds;
• Surface Water Rights; and
• The Domestic Well.
